Brand
The night shift for your codebase.
One mark, one warm colour, eight words. Everything here comes from a single night: hand off at 23:00, proof at 07:00.
The mark
A check folded from one strip of receipt paper.
- It is folded from a receipt. Both strokes are one strip of thermal paper, folded once. The long stroke ends where the receipt was torn off. At Jarvai, done is printed, never just said.
- The sun is a zero. The circle rising in the fold is the 0 of
exit 0, the Finish Line. It is also the sun coming up when you wake to proof. - The angle is the night. The short stroke goes down at 23:00. The fold is 3 a.m. The long stroke climbs to 07:00, which is why it is longer: most of a night is spent climbing.

Colour
Mostly night and paper. One lamp.
Amber is the only warm colour and appears once per view. Green and red mean a check passed or a claim was flagged, and nothing else.
#0B1232The canvas. Every story starts here.
#3A3D79Depth in the sky and in the shade of the fold.
#F2A33AThe one warm thing: the sun, accents, the lamp left on.
#FFFDF8Receipts and the folded mark.
#16181DText, and the mark on light.
#F7F7F5The page you wake up to.
#1E7A4CVerified. Only for checks that ran.
#C2452DClaims without evidence. Never decoration.
Type
Geist speaks. Geist Mono keeps time.

Geist Mono: clocks, receipts, exit codes, money. Anything you could check.
Voice
Calm at night. Exact in the morning.
Say what ran and what it returned. Numbers beat praise.
Never say done without the receipt that proves it.
Tonight, before bed, at breakfast. Short sentences, no exclamation marks.
When a call belongs to a person, say exactly which call it is.
Vocabulary
One night, eight words.
Capitalise them as product names in the interface. In running text they read as ordinary words: hand off a task, raise a flag, print a receipt.
- Hand-off
A task you give Jarvai before bed, with the command that decides when it's done.
- Night Shift
Every hand-off running at once, each with its own agent and its own sandbox.
- Finish Line
Your command, exit 0, on a clean checkout. Done means this and nothing else.
- Flag
Raised when a claim has no evidence. Flagged work goes back to the agent.
- Race
One task, several models. The tests pick the winner.
- Cap
A hard limit on money, time and turns. Hit it and the run stops.
- Receipt
Signed proof of a run: commit, commands, exit codes, checks, spend and model.
- Morning Brief
Your phone at breakfast: what's verified, and what needs you.
